SITUATION

After 26 years of working in the industry, Lisa was finally ready to retire and to find a partner that would carry on her legacy. In our very first meeting, Lisa emphasized the importance of culture and spent most of that time reflecting on her employees. We realized immediately what a unique and exciting business she had built. She expressed that although she'd be stepping away from the CEO seat, she would love to remain involved and continue as a shareholder in the business. We loved her idea and elevated her to a board role and the opportunity for a second bite of the apple. On Lisa's last day, she held a company wide meeting and introduced Mike and Georgia Oak. Seeing so many people come up to Lisa to congratulate her was heartwarming and goes to show what an amazing and strong business she's built.
