DAVID WALKER

David partners with the leadership and finance teams of Georgia Oak’s portfolio companies. He manages the communication of qualitative and quantitative analysis, as well as portfolio company finances, with investors and other stakeholders.

Prior to joining Georgia Oak, David worked at Moore Colson, a leading accounting and advisory firm in Atlanta. Before that, David was a partner at GreerWalker, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based public accounting firm. While there, he also moved to Greenville, South Carolina to help open a new office location for the firm. David served privately-held businesses across a variety of industries, including clients in manufacturing and distribution, financial services, quick service restaurants, technology, and outdoor apparel sectors.

David earned both a Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia. He enjoys live music, travel, cooking, camping, hiking, and UGA sports. He and his wife, Mary Stuart, reside in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Decatur.
