We are excited to introduce Connor Smith to the Georgia Oak family as our newest Associate! In this role, Connor supports Georgia Oak’s deal, portfolio, and sourcing efforts across its growing portfolio of companies.

Connor joins Georgia Oak from Northern Rock, where he focused on investments in the automotive repair industry. During his time there, he evaluated and performed due diligence on more than 80 transactions, assisted in multiple debt and equity raises, and worked closely with portfolio companies to maximize earnings.

Prior to Northern Rock, Connor was a Consultant with Kaufman Rossin, where he provided financial due diligence and M&A advisory services to buy-side and sell-side clients across a range of industries.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Connor holds bachelor’s degrees in both Accounting and Finance. He is also active in the Atlanta community, serving as a mentor for underprivileged youth through the YMCA’s Reach & Rise program.
